Sorry if this is in the wrong place or has alraedy been addressed, I looked
for it, but after an hour of searching the site and the forums, it eaither
hasn't been asked, or I've overlooked it.

My copy of Solitaire seems to have a glitch, about 70% of the time, it
dosn't reconise when the game is lost and ask if I'd like to end it, like
it's suposed to. And the "hint" comand just has me cycle though the
remaining card pile over and over and over. Some of the time it will
reconise that the game is lost, and ask me to move on, but the vast majority
of the time it wont, which is what is so confuseing to me.

Am I missing something? Has this already been fixed? Or is it just my copy
that's buggy? Am I asking this in the right place even? (sorry if I'm not)

You are not alone Torra. I too experience this. However, I don't know what
the answer is. All the best finding out.

I've seen it, I just chalked it up to a logic error. I mean I find it
amazing someone had time to code the ability for the game to check and see
if you have any actual moves left or not. Probably not a perfect system. I
mean does it really stop you from enjoying the game? I mean you've obivously
played a lot of games assuming you probably played through 10 or more to
come up with the "70%" metric.

Yes, it's a glitch, 99% of all games out there have glitches, some more
annoying than others. I mean after you go through a pile twice and don't see
a move I think it's pretty safe to assume you don't have one.

I mean solitare I just assume I've lost and start over, I never wrack my
brains trying to figure out if i've exhausted every possible option.

It's just really irritating to me, not it's not a major thing, just
irritating. And as someone with sever OCD, it bugs me every time. And I
play a lot of solitare to keep my hands busy while I do other stuff.
::shrugs:: I'm just wondering if there's away to fix it. I can live with
it, but I'd rather fix it if it's possible.
