Ok, here is an interesting question for someone. I recently purchased a
GEFORCE FX5200 PCI Card. I know there are some who are not great fans of the
card here. I find it VERY nice, especially since I don’t play games on the
computer it self. Maybe if would be bad if I did. But considering what was
in here before, it is a diamond compared to the chunk of coal that came with
the computer. So, I am not here to argue video cards.
So, here is the question. I got the card installed and I got Areo Glass to
work just great. No problems (except when I play video in DivX player, where
I lose glass, but it comes back as soon as I close it out). However, my wife
was on her account, and mentioned she could not see the effects of Glass. So
I logged onto her account, and tried everything. I could not get Glass to
show up. I switched to Windows Vista, then looked at the “Windows Colors and
Appearance†and no dice. Nothing showed up but the standard Vista Basic,
Windows Classic, ECT. But, I logged back onto my account, everything worked
great.
Any ideas?
Just some basic info in case you want it. Though I could not see how it
would run on one account and not another located on the same computer.
