giving access to programs for users

I have just purchased a new PC with Windows XP Home.
I have installed software but don't want to allow some of
the user accounts (My Children) access to that software.
How do I make it so that that software program doesn't
show up under programs when they are logged in?

The best option is to configure the folder Permissions in Windows XP

For XP Home edition, login in Safe Mode > Administrator in order to see the
Security tab for a file/folder.
