GIMP for Windows v2.2.6 is now released

Well, that was a *mighty change. OTOH, some might have needed exactly
this one.

Well, euh, yeah. In 2.2.5 the printing plugin was simply broken due to the
mentioned change. It's only reasonable for them to bring out a 2.2.6 that
fixes the problem instead of continuing for weeks with an obviously
crippled release.

I recently had to re-install XP and it messed up a few things...AVG had to be
re-installed, and GIMP
won't allow me to open a file. I get an error message: "this application has failed
to start because libgimpui-2.0.0.dll was not found. Re-installing this application
MAY (empahsis mine) fix this problem. " I click OK, and it opens then when I click
file that message pops up again then GIMP pop up with the message that GIMP jpeg
CRASHED.... MyDoc...plug-in could not open the file.... I can see the small version
of the photos, but I can't open them. GIMP also suggest saving all files and
something about a dying plug-in! Bottom line: I need to re-install GIMP! Do I
need to uninstall the version that is on here now before re-installing, or can I
install over this? TIA
