Just recently purchsed a Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 and I have had issues installing a PCI USB internal card reader on this system. Getting the card reader to work, and reading micro sd etc, but the USB 3.0 will not recognise any USB device. The card reader is connected via the USB pins off the main board and the USB 3.0 via PCI. I have tried different PCI slots to no avail. This is built around windows 7 pro. All drivers installed correctly. I have just one GFX card and connected X16. Any help would be appreciated.
