Hmmm, sounds like maybe a wedding present - no?
I have read somewhere that the move is so ASUS can avoid conflicts
with orders for notebook production from for example Apple, Samsung,
or Dell.
So they have Gigabyte make that stuff.
All because 'Asus' is more and more known as a make of its own.
Acer did the same thing in the past with Wistron.
This _could_ be the reason.
