gif opens in IE

Hi, Gif files used to open in Windows photo gallery but now open in
Internet Explorer. How do I change them back? I must have ticked something
I shouldn't have! Thanks
 
right click a .gif file, select open with
then pick the program you want, tick the always use this program box
