Went to the Adobe site to retrieve a GIF that would enable
visitors to my site to download Reader 6.0. Couldn't see
the GIF using IE6 on my desktop under XP Home. Could see
it, and downloaded it using IE6 from my laptop also using
XP Home. Both machines connecting through the same shared
ADSL modem.

Inserted the GIF in my FP2002 website and uploaded. Can
see it fine with the laptop browser, but not with the
desktop. I've compared the settings on both browsers and
they appear to be identical.

Anyone any ideas please?

Sorry, should have said. Yes, I did import it (to
images/adobe.gif). I can see it in the correct place in
the preview of the page. After uploading it, I can see it
using my laptop browser but not using the same browser on
my desktop system. Bizarre.

Brian -

Possibly too simplistic, but have you tried clearing the cache on your
desktop?

Brian,

I had the same issue. Did not ever resolved it. What I did was to scan
adobe acrobat box and produced a new graphic. I did not have time to
figure out what the heck was going on. I have been able to do it
before on other pages but not this time. I just assumed that Adobe
had figured out a way to put a magic spell on their gif. If you or
someone else can figure this out please advice.

Fabio

Here is my scanned gif at the bottom of the page.
