I'm a beginner, beginner, beginner, so please go easy on
me. (To show you how much, I originally posted this on
the "Add-ins" section.
I have a logo that I want on my web page. It uses an
uncommon font. If I design it in FP 2002, it looks great
on my machine, but on other computers, the uncommon font
is converted to a default font. That part I understand.
If I design the same logo through PowerPoint and save it
as a GIF file, then add it to my web page, it looks
shaky, unbolded, and unattractive.
How can I either embed the uncommon font into the HTML,
or (better yet), design the logo (and with what software
package) and save it as a GIF, so that I can insert it on
my web page without looking like I drew it freehand with
a pen almost out of ink while travelling 80 MPH on a
bumpy road?
I appreciate any replies, especially if you can explain
it simply.
Thanks,
Sally
