GIF doesn't always display

Went to the Adobe site to retrieve a GIF that would enable
visitors to my site to download Reader 6.0. Couldn't see
the GIF using IE6 on my desktop under XP Home. Could see
it, and downloaded it using IE6 from my laptop also using
XP Home. Both machines connecting through the same shared
ADSL modem.

Inserted the GIF in my website and uploaded. Can see it
fine with the laptop browser, but not with the desktop.
I've compared the settings on both browsers and they
appear to be identical.

Anyone any ideas please?

Clean your Temporary Internet Files (Folder).
