I am having a problem with gif animations. I see them working when I am in
preview mode, but when I publish the site and check them online, they aren't
working. Can anyone help?

URL to the page online?

I created the dog animation myself using Gif Animator. It works just fine
in preview, but not online. You'll notice the angel gif doesn't move either,
and that I downloaded from Microsoft. It's odd... some gif's work on some
pages, and some don't.

any help??

Thanks,

Hi - They both worked OK on my machine at first (XP Prof., IE6) but the dog
ceased to move after 10 movements - the angel continues to move
indefinately. Refreshing the page starts the dog again. When creating the
animation did you set it to 'loop forever'?

Brian,
Hello and thank you for checking this out for me. Apparently I have
something set wrong on my machine. I used to get a message about activex not
being installed...but recently that message went away. What do you know
about ActiveX? I googled it, but there are too many choices to pick from and
I don't know enough about it to get the right install. I'm suspecting that
this is the problem. I know that when I got the message and allowed it to
run, that GIF's ran fine.

Thanks so much for your help.
