Help for someone in over their head.
I had a hour glass on the desktop, went to Task Manager and
GIANTantispyware.exe was running, there was 90 percent cpu usage, in task
manager "go to" took me to gcasDTserve.exe, are they both MS legit? I went
to the web and tried to find them and I think the last one is?
GIANTantispyware.exe might have said updater, but I was so upset about
something I didn't know that I shut it down as fast as I could.
Where is the definition number listed?
Thanks from a newby to all this.

Thanks for both answers.

Yes, those processes running in TaskManager are associated with Microsoft
AntiSpyware and allows the program to function properly. If you want to
find out the definition number, go to Help About in Microsoft AntiSpyware
and you will find it listed.

Definitions are currently at 5723
