ghostly text

I had a power blip in the middle of a Frontpage session and lost my machine.
Everything seemed OK when I rebooted until I displayed the page that I was
working on. Some text (an old version of something that I had edited)
appeared at the very top of the page. It definitely isn't visible in the
html. I tried cutting & pasting the html between the body tags into a new
file. The 'ghostly' text was still there. This page represents a lot of work.
Someone please tell me that I don't have to rebuild it from scratch!!

Are you using shared borders or includes? The "ghostly" text could be
in one of those, and will not appear in code view, but will if you
preview in browser, and view source in the browser.

I am not using either in this particular page. I do have some FP includes
elsewhere on other pages. The weird part is that the text is exactly as it is
now before I made a slight mod. It is displayed with default settings and not
with the css settings that I have. I have viewed all of the other pages in my
site and everything looks OK.

Clear your FP Temp files and web cache before opening FP
- see the tool at http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm
Then open FP and your web & run a tools recalculate hyperlinks before opening the page
