I'm trying to make a ghost image of a ntfs windows embbeded partition. But
afther restoring this image the ewf component does not work anymore (unable
to find an ewf volume). Does anyone have a solution?

Thanks for any response,
R.Demandt

If not using ghost, what other methode can I use to make 1-on-1 copies of my
windows embedded disk?

:
We have a cloning machine here. Expensive things, though.

Demandt,

You can easy write a tool that will open a source partition as low level disk data and copy bit-to-bit to another open destination
partition.
I thought similar tool was put on www.xpefiles.com but I can't seem to be able to open the website now (reporting database error) so
cannot verify that.

Or, after all, use tools like WinHex or Paragon Partition manager. Those will allow you to save off # of sectors of the drive.

Other options we've used are PXe boot options that partition the drive
from a script and then copy over the files... but we don't use EWF on
these images.
