HI

I've had no success using Ghost to clone a win2k pc,
what the correct software to copy a win2k Hard drive?
Ghost seems to work fine with WIN98, WINNT with ghostwalker.

Is it expensive? shareware?

TIA

Larry

Hi Larry

ghost works fine for me win2K ?

Is it going onto same machine with different HD or onto
totally new machine - may be hardware compatibility issues

Hi Larry,

Let's start with the simplest question. What version of Ghost are you
using?

By the way, if you go to Langa.com, Fred Langa's newsletter this week is
about shareware alternatives to Ghost and Drive Image.

Good luck, Dan Schaffer

If you are using anything before Ghost 2002, it will not work. I have had
success with Norton Ghost and Drive Image 2002, although DI2002 doesn't seem
to like the faster media, 48x, and on our system has to be slowed down by
commands (available on their support site as error 1805).

I use ghost 2001 from nortons systems works disk no problems
at all been used many times successfully

Must remember to stay out of that "registry" thingo :-)

Geoff
