Removed Ghost keylogger and stealth keylogger with MSAS
and nolonger have keyboard/mouse access after reboot.

In process of a repair reinstall of XPtc2005. What could
I have done instead?

I've seen this issue more than once with this kind of removal. My general
advice if you find a keylogger is to call Microsoft PSS--1-866-pcsafety, a
free call in the U.S. or Canada.

In other parts of the world, call your local Microsoft office, or the number
for paid support in your locale, and ask for the free help with virus
removal or security patch problems.

However, the experience recounted here in these groups is that even with
their professional support, similar problems are likely to arise.

You might want to submit a Tools, Suspected Spyware report when (and if!)
you are able to do so. Even though your machine is clean, recount the items
found and your experience. There's a log--cleaner.log which you could cut
and paste from into the report forms.

The techs need to hear that this removal isn't going smoothly--although I
suspect they know that already.
