Whenever I open my ie, another ie window appears in my
task bar. You can't restore it. The options it gives me
is to move, minimize, or close. Is this spyware? If so,
how can I get rid of it? Up until now, I've been just
closing it out.

If you suspect Spyware.

Removal Tool, your choice, novice users, Lavasoft's Ad-aware,

Install either but both are not necessary, reboot, read FAQ and overview, use
online update feature to obtain the latest reference files, scan for Spyware
much like you would with your pre-installed anti-virus scanner.
Rid your machine of unwanted Spyware pests.
