I have an IBM T42 and I would like to produce a Ghost backup using the
internal DVD writer while booting from a USB stick and using the DOS
version of Ghost. The drive has a primary partition, an extended
partition with logical drives and an extra hidden IBM primary recovery
partition for system restore. All are NTFS.
What I would like is the capability to:
1. Selectively restore any particular partition back to the hard drive.
2. Alternatively restore the whole image back for the whole drive.
Now the easy bit is preparing a USB stick that is bootable with the
Ghost file, but what settings do I need to be able to do the full back
up and selective restore. I think I need to go into the options and
select "Image Boot" Can anyone confirm please.
Thanks
