Ghost 2003 restore

I use a floppy disc made by Ghost 2003 to boot up my system
to do backups and restores. I keep the backed up files on a
seperate hard drive. Backups go fine at about 600 Kbs a sec.
But when I restore it doesn't go so fast. Only about 23 Kbs.
Very slow!!!! Anyone can point me in the right direction?

I was thinking about putting autoexec.bat/config.sys files on
the floppy to enable buffers and maybe a disk cache. What
do you think?

It is connected as drive 2 on a Promise card. I'm backing up
drive 1 to 2. Both drives are on the same channel.

Thank you.

Thank you.
