I can't change the monitor refresh rate on my computer as
the graphics card and monitor don't show up in device
manager.

So because Windows thinks that there is no monitor i
can't change the refresh rate, which is set wrong so my
lcd screen won't work on it.

Does anyone know how i can manually set the refresh rate
in the registry or an .inf file somewhere? Or even get
the gfx card to show would be nice.

Tried the hardware wizard. Tried reinstalling windows
over the top of itself.

I think the refresh rate can be overridden in the DxDiag program in the
Windows folder

Tried that and it didn't work :( On my work computer it
worked but not on the one that windows thinks doesn't
have a monitor or gfx card.

Any other ideas?
