Hi all
I have been wondering whether or not it is worth going from a GF4 Ti4400 to a
Radeon 9600 Pro. I have read lots of reviews and they generally have the same
results. That is, with no AA or AF, the GF4 would be ahead in most cases.
However once turned on, the 9600 Pro leaps ahead. Another biggie for me is DVD
playback. The quality of the GF4 is quite poor compared to my old Realmagic
Hollywood Plus card (however that is a pain in the butt to use with swapping
cables to use it) which I would like to put to sleep for good.
I would appreciate peoples' experiences if they have made a similar upgrade
(sidegrade???). Do you feel it was worth it?
Cheers
