Getting Windows Messages

At start up I keep getting the same mesages:
C:\windows\HIMEM.SYS, C:\WINDOWS\DBLUFF.SYS AND
C:\WINDOWS IFSHLP.SYS CAN YOU HELP.

At a guess - & it is only a guess - I'd say you installed XP as a
upgrade & this is a remnant of the old Autoexec.Bat or Config.sys whic
previous versions of Windows used. You should be able to delete , o
'Ren' all text in these files and the messages won't appear at boot-up
I thought XP had actually done away with these, but I note tha
they're still there on my PC which had XP installed as a clea
installation - both files are empty
