Just got new computer and need to get my web sites back to my Hard Drive. I
have tried the Web Import Wizard and the files come in but all themes, etc.
are lost. One of the web sites I do is quite large and does not use theme
but has different backgrounds, etc on each page. I sure do not want to have
to reset that up. Also when I imported a simple, small web site, all files
came in but navigation structure shows just home page and I do not know the
exact navigational structure of the large site. Woe is me.......... Millie

Hi Millie,

Don't import but rather *publish* your web back to your computer. Open it in
FrontPage...File | Open Web | and then type in your domain name.
(http://www.yourdomain.com) You should be prompted for your user name and
password. Enter those and your online web should open. You can then publish
it back down to your local and get everything!

Thanks. I knew to publish but it had been a while since I had to do this.
And when I did Open Web, I was typing the URL in the wrong place, not the
Folder name slot, so it would open on the Internet and not in Front Page.
DUH!. I now have 4 of the 5 web sites that I maintain back on my HD.
Having a problem accessing one of them but I think it is a server problem.
It is not one of the critical ones that I update regularly anyway. Thanks
again..... Millie
