Didn't like my language on last posting earlier today - I see it didn't get posted

The email address below should never be filled out. I'm getting 20-30 emails with viruses a day since leaving m
email address for help with a problem with outlook

Administrator of this site should consider removing the email address area to protect future stupid people like me

That's why by default the field is filled with;
(e-mail address removed)

Roady is right that the option is there to leave your address or not but i'm saying the choic
should not even be available. There is no need for it. Posters can simple recheck the site for answers to their questions.

I don't agree with that. As you can see this newsgroup gets lots of postings
a day. Going back to the web and find your message is nearly impossible for
lots of newsgroup users and give up. Asking for a reply to mail as well will
help them in getting a solution. When you have a newsreader like OE it is
eassier but then you'll have to insert an address as well. It is always up
to the poster what e-mail address he/she is willing to make public. Making
your private address public is a bad choice for everything not just
newsgroups. It's kinda like going on-line without a virusscanner or
firewall. In general; people should be better informed before they go
on-line and learn about the results of their actions on the Internet.
