ok I have a video clip (from the internet) that I want to put into my
powerpoint. However I tried looking up Microsoft online etc. and they
mentioned finding a Wmp.ppa file in the add in folder which just confused me
even more. I tried saving the clip under several different folders, but I
still can't tell what I'm doing wrong.

If you want to insert the video, first create a folder.
Move both the presentation file and video into that folder.
Now, open the presentation file, go into the slide that you want to insert
you video at.
Click Insert > Movies and Sounds > Movie from file.
Look for the video and click Ok.
When prompted, select the option of your preference.

PowerPoint Heaven - The Power to Animate

Hello "Tohlz" and others who MIGHT have a solution for us. We are a
501(c)(3) non profit. Need to insert video clips into our Power Point
presentation. Have just switched to Power Point 2007 in hopes the newer
program cound handle an insert. It does NO Better than v 2003.

The Problem: My movie (video) clips are .avi files (Adobe Premier Capture).
I can render the file as an .avi. Then Power Point WILL accept it as a
clip..BUT the codec or some other control makes the clip (which plays well as
a .avi and in Premier) does NOT work in Power Point. As clip plays in Power
Point the images are blurred and pixel-ated.

OR--Please tell me HOW to import a video clip direct from my Mini DV Master
Tape into Power Point so it plays as a clear and sharp image. --- AT Full
Frame Sizes.

Advance Thanks,
