I'm having trouble getting my switcboard to become the first thing to load up
when I enter my database. Also, a similar problem, I do not want anyone to
see the amount of records that are in the databse, but when the form is
opened to enter data, on the bottom of the window is says' Record Number X of
XXXX' with arrow buttons. How do I turn this feature off?

Thanks.

You can set what form appears when the database opens under Tools | Setup on
the menu.

You can remove the record count by opening the form in Design mode and
setting its Navigation Button property to No.

That will, of course, also remove the navigation buttons themselves.

But, in the Command Button Wizard, there are options to automatically add
your own Nav Buttons, and you don't have to display any record numbers.
