Getting specific rows of data into a 2nd spreadsheet

I have a spreadsheet with about 26 columns. The rows of
information are sales invoices.

One of the columns contains a salesperson code.

In a separate spreadsheet I want to extract some of the
row information pertaining to only one salesperson.


What is an excel function for doing this?

Hi Joe,

you can use VLOOKUP together with your salesperson code as search
criteria and the respective column as return value
