Does anyone know how to disable or completely get rid of
the "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer". I have manually
associated files with a viewer I want to use which is
much better than that 'silly mother Bill knows what's
best for us "Picture and Fax Viewer" '. But, still a
double click brings up the "picture and fax" viewer every
time. The right click menu does show my viewer as an
open with (ACDC in this case) but I want it automatically
to come upu.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks, Harry

If you right click an image file...(a .jpg for example)
and from the menu...choose / Properties / General tab /
Change button...select the program of your choice...
OK / Apply / OK.
Now when you double click a .jpg file it should open
in the program of your choice.
If you prefer to edit your registry...try the following...
Proceed at your own risk and good luck...
