Getting rid of security - problems

Hi,

I am using Access 2000. Tried turning on security for a database but need
to turn it off. According to the help file, I am supposed to give the users
group permission to everything then create a new database and import all
tables/forms etc to the new database. I do that and all is well until I
close the database and reopen it. When I do that, it appears that all code
is no longer accessible. When I try to open the code, I get a network
connection may be lost message (I'm on a stand alone machine). Any
suggestions?
