Good afternoon.
I want to reinstall Vista my computer. I have the Ulimate Edition upgrade.
The 64 bit version is already on there and I want to revert to the 32 bit
version (for compatability). My thoughts to do this would be to:
1. Reinstall Windows XP on the system (formatting the drive in NTFS). I
have the full version of XP Home.
2. Install Vista in 32 bit version.
My problem (if you want to call it that) is that the drive is partitioned,
basically in half. It is a 150 gig drive with two 75 (roughly) gig
partitions.
How do I go about formatting the drive into just one large 150 gig
partition? When I go to install XP, I can format or even delete partitions,
but it doesn't seem to add the space back into a previous partition. I was
hoping there was an easy way to do this without having to purchase additional
software.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
