Hi, I am running windows XP and I like to create temp.
folders on the desktop to put stuff in and then delete
them when I am done. Now, all the sudden I have one I
can't get rid of. It only has one file in it and it is a
DDF file, what ever that is. I send it to the recycle bin
and it come back, I seperate them and delete them and it
comes back. Just can't get rid of it. Help.....
Thanks Pat

Hi Pat

Try deleting the file/folder from a command prompt. Failing that, try the
same from Safe Mode.

Hi

From Start>Run type

cmd

Press OK

You will then have to change to the folder where that is file is. Type the
following:

cd /<name of folder>

without the brackets.

Then try and delete the file in that folder:

del *.ddf
