Getting Pictures Into Placeholders

I have an old slide which has several photographs on it, but not placed
within placeholders. I now need to re-use this slide in a new presentation,
but want the photos within placeholders. I can no longer find the source
photographs to re-import them. Is there a way of creating placeholders on
the original slide so that it imports okay to the new presentation?

I'm using 2007, but the original was created in 2003.

Thanks.

Sue,

Right click on the image and select Save as picture. Then use an image
content placeholder to load it. Another option that may work is to choose a
slide layout with the Placeholders. Copy the image, select the Placeholder,
and select Paste. In some versions, you can copy an image onto a
Placeholder, although I think it doesn't work in 2007. Tried it and it
works. although that is no guarantee.
