I have had problems with Outlook receiving Quicktime files and converting them to Microsoft Windows Media Player files and of course having Media Player not recognizing them and even Quicktime won't recognize them. How do I get Outlook to stop converting the attached files

Outlook doesn't convert any files. You have an association in your registry
that tells your PC to open files with type .MOV with Windows Media Player.
Run the Quicktime control panel and change this association back to using
Quicktime.
