Getting nslookup.exe working on win98

There's a useful command line utility that ships with XP, called
nslookup.exe. It can show you, for instance, //all// the news server IPs
of your ISP (this information can sometimes be useful to get faster
download speeds). I got a copy but it won't work on win98 :-(

Does anyone have any knowledge of how to get it working on win98? TIA

Why don't you use the version that comes with Win98 (at least with
Win98SE)?

Or try "Cyberkit" (it's on the pricelessware list IIRC).

No it's *not* on the PL, it's shareware!

Cyberkit used to be on the PL:

And it's donationware (soon to be abandonware):

I'm not sure about all versions of Win98, but there was a version of it
shipped with Win98SE (I have used it for years).

No, it's *never* been on the PL:

It was nominated for the PL 2004, but never made it on to the list:
And it's donationware (soon to be abandonware):

OK, there are several programs named CyberKit, the one that came to my
mind is $ware.

Most (all?) versions of nslookup are pretty lame for debugging dns issues.
You should instead look for ported versions of the "dig" utility. I am sure
Google can help.
