i have been trying to get music to play for my video... but it keeps saying this

The file C:\Documents and Settings\computech customer\My Documents\My Music\Unknown Artist\Coldplay\05 Track 5.wma is protected using digital rights management and cannot be importe

does that mean i can not use this music for my video?

See the Importing Source Files > Digital Rights Management and Music and
Audio pages of my website.

Movie Maker won't import music files that are protected.... but, if you have
the right to use the file, the notes on the pages might help.

Hi ther,

This one is easy. When you downloaded the particular music track you had
the Digital Rights Manager turned on (from the look of it in Windows Media
Player). You can either....

1) Save the audio by creating a music CD then rip it back to the hard drive
and giving it a new name...or
2) Delete it, turn off the Digital Rights Manager and download it again.

I currently use iTunes for my music. No, I don't have a MAC, but do have a iPod. Even though iTunes is now compatable with Windows, Windows will not allow me to use them to add to a Photo Story. How come? I have tons of music that I have paid for in iTunes, it doesn't seem right since I paid for it it should work with Windows.

Any thoughts

Well yes, the message that you replied to is probably the answer to your
problem. If it is not then perhaps the format of the files is not
acceptable. When you click the import audio option in Movie Maker you will
see the types of file you can import in front of you..its at the bottom of
the dialogue box.
