Hello,
Our office is using a MS Windows based network running Windows 2000 server.
All of us have local IP's and are using a proxy to access the web. The
question is, how can I access the Internet to POP my mail accounts using MS
Outlook 2003. I've been told that the only way is to get a proxy client.
The issue there is that, I am being told, if I want to use my notebook at
home I would need to uninstall the client and can not just turn it off.
Is this so? Please guide.
Thanks.

Outlook should use the same proxy settings you have defined in Internet
Explorer.

Unlikely that it is so.

Yes, my original assumption was that it should just pick up the proxy
settings in IE. Unfortunately, it does not.

Is there any other solution?
Thanks.
