getting Master Title Slide to show up first?

HI,
I am using PP2000

I am trying to create a presentation from scratch eg. adding my own
background, fonts and color scheme.

When first starting with File>New and selecting the AutoLayout "Bulleted
List".

Then change my Slide Master colors/fonts

Save as a .pot presentation

Under View Menu I can only select View>Slide Master

Now I can see in the Insert Menu that it has "New Title Master"

I click on that, make the changes to the Title Master.

Save both of them..

But how to I add the Title Master page to my presentation?

My 1 slide in Normal View on the left side shows my Slide Master slide. I
have tried to create a few pages, save it and then run slide show but I
can't get the Master slide to show up.
How do I add it to my presentation?

I know this seems simple, but I am running in circles here! ;o)

If you click "Insert", "New Slide" the Slide Layout taskpane opens. Click
the top left icon and you will get a title slide.
 
After you create a title master, change the layout for your slide
(Format|Slide Layout) to the first one in the list -- if you hover your
mouse over the slide layout thumbnails, you'll see this one is called "Title
Slide." Your title master will apply to any slides that use the Title Slide
layout. The other layouts all inherit their look from the regular slide
master (with the bulleted text placeholder).

I think that's what you're asking. If not, holler back.
 
LOL forgive me, but that makes no sense what's so ever but it works!!
Why and how would that create a Title Master slide to be inserted and not
the normal Slide Master?
 
Nope that hit the nail on the head also!! Amazingly simply but so hard to
achieve those results without your insight and knowledgeable replies.

Just for future reference, can I, if need be attach a screen capture to this

Well, you're using OE, so you *can*, but that doesn't mean you *should*. It
would be better to post your screengrab on a website and post a link to it.
Usually a good description will be enough to diagnose the problem, but yeah,
there are times when a picture truly is worth a thousand words. <g> In those
cases, someone will usually ask for a screenshot and give you an email
address to send it to -- or will suggest that you post it online somewhere.
If you don't have a site available already, I think you could use something
like Flickr for pictures or http://www.storeandserve.com (I've not used it,
so I don't know how good it is!) or other sites like this to upload files.
