getting Labels from a category on Outlook Contacts

Is there a simple way to create labels from a Category
within Outlook COntacts 2000 please?
 
Export the contacts from Outlook to an Excel spreadsheet. Clean up the
spreadsheet if needed and do a mail merge with the new workbook as the data
source.
