Hi,
I recently (2 months ago) purchased a compaq presario
laptop, and I haven´t had any problems nor complaints
until two days ago when I turned on my computer and it
goes into the Windows XP blue screen that says ¨click on
your icon to start your session¨. Well those icons have
disapeared, and I have no way to get into windows. I
looked at the start up options and they all look ok. When
I hit clt-Alt- Del, a window pops up with my user name and
and a place to insert my password, but my password does
not work. I have no idea what the problem could be, if
you have any information that could assist me I would
appreciate it, what makes this situation worse is that I
am currently studying abroad in Spain and all of my
pictures that I have taken are stored on my hardrive and I
am afraid that if I try to re-install windows I will lose
all of my pictures and documents. What should I do?

Any input would be great.

Thanks,

Daniel Sanburg
