Instruct your BIOS to use the CD drive as the first
boot device so that you can boot off your Win2000 CD.

It is not giving option to go BIOS setting at all (press DEL or Press
F6 something like that), the "insert boot Media" message keep coming
and blinking couple of times and then disappears. I am not seeing any
option to goto BIOS. Is there any option to go BIOS?. I holded "DEL"
key after I powered on the PC, but still it is not going. after I press
power button, if I press the CD-ROM button, the CD-ROM drive pops out
and then after I insert CD and reboot again, nothing is going on. The
CD is good, I tested on other PC. Can somebody suggest me. Thanks.

You wrote that this is a new PC. It seems that you must now
byte the bullet and RTFM. The motherboard manual tells you
exactly how to get into your BIOS. If the instructions don't
work, take the machine back to the dealer and let him show you.

try esc, f1, or del. or toy could try either holding down several keys at
once, turning on computer in hopes to get kb error which will take you to
bios or bios reset jumper. If its a "new" computer didnt it come with an OS
or some manuals?

best of luck
