Restart the computer and keep hitting the 'DEL' key on your keyboard until
you enter the BIOS

The method varies from one computer to the next. At boot, you will see a
black screen with a lot of information on it. One of the entries is
something to the effect of "enter setup" press Del. It may be any of
several things including F10 or some other key or combination of keys. You
will have to look on the black screen. LOOK QUICK!!

Best method is not to go into your bios - most likely if you purchased it
new, its enabled. To check this you will need to look at your device
manager. (Right click on "My Computer" go to manage, look down the list to
the left it will show "device manger")

Now just look down the list of devices you have. USB is normally at the
bottom of the list. If it opens up and has stuff like USB root hub, etc and
the icons for it aren't yellow/red then its working correctly.

If its blank - then check your bios. If its Yellow/Red, then you probably
have a driver issue.

Well, if its a Toshiba laptop you might have to hold down the ESC key while
the system boots up.

A lot depends on type of system. Most however will detect a keyboard error
if you just hold down a key while booting up and then ask if you want to go
into the bios via F1, F2, F10 keys.

Majority of desktops use the DEL key, just keep pressing it before windows
even starts.

Greetings --

Only you know what motherboard and BIOS you have, so only you know
the answer to your question. ;-}

In the extremely unlikely event that your PC's manual or the PC's
manufacturer's web site doesn't provide the needed information, try
one or more of the following:

How do I access my computer's setup (BIOS)
http://www.iomega.com/support/documents/2157.html

Wim's BIOS Page
http://www.wimsbios.com/

Accessing Motherboard BIOS

You should also be aware that it's very easy to render, at least
temporarily, your PC unbootable by making an incorrect change in the
BIOS. So be very careful.

LOOK QUICK!!Suggestion: If you hit the PAUSE key during POST, you will have all the
time you need to find the text. Any key (sometimes ENTER) will continue
boot process.
