Getting IMEI No from Windows Application

Hi Everyone,

I'm developing an appilcation which needs to authenticate the PDA
through its IMEI no. I'm able to get IMEI no in PDA application using
lineGetGeneralInfo. But there are two challenges are continue for me
for a long time -
1. How to get IMEI no of a PDA which attached to a PC, from a Windows
Application. I'd seen that some software (SUPER PAD , GPS Tuner) done
this job through windows application.
2. lineGetGeneralInfo not functioning when PDA is in flight mode.

If somebody has any idea please help me.

1. I haven't looked at the parameters for that call, but CeRapiInvoke() is
the first-level answer to "how do I call a DLL function from the PC via
ActiveSync/RAPI".

2. Yes. That's exactly what I'd expect.
