Troubled

I just purchased a new software called IconForge. When I
attempted to execute the program I get an error saying
that I need to inform Microsoft about the problem...I
guess so they can address the issue. I have found that
after the latest Windows XP Pro automatic update I am
having this same error/trouble with some of my older
software...never thought I'd have touble with new
software. My other problem is that there is absolutly no
way that I can see of contacting Microsoft! I sure hope
someone out there is listening and can give some advice.
Surely, I'm not the only one with these problems! Thanks
for any help.

This is what I found on the IconForge website.

Q: I occassionally get an error message when running your program?
The first place to look is to find out what other programs are running in
the backgound when you receive the error message. If there are many
applications running in the background (such as FileFind, schedulers, and
other apps) your system may not have the internal system resources (not the
same as memory or disk space) to run another program. Windows has a finite
amount of internal resources. If you run many programs at the same time,
these resources can become critically low and cause error messages or
crashes. Try rebooting, then shutting down some of these programs, to see if
the error recurs. If so, please contact our Tech Support department and
describe the conditions under which you experience the error.

However, the window you see is a feature in XP to allow Microsoft to see
when error's occur and if they are related to the OS or the software vendor.
It helps identify who is having errors and how they can be fixed. Do not
worry about them...you can send them if you want (I recommend doing so) or
not.
