Getting flash to work

I can't get flash sites to work, I download the flash program, get the ok
that it's working then when I visit a flash site it always says I need to
install flash, any suggestions?
 
Download the standalone version of Flash Player from here:
http://www.softwarepatch.com/network-security/flashdownload-security....

[install_flash_active_x.msi]

Then right-click on the file and select "Run as administrator".

Hi,

Are you running x64 and the 64-bit version of IE? If so, flash will not work
in it, you'd have to run the 32-bit version of IE.

Step 1. Install Firefox or Opera

http://getfirefox.com

or http://www.opera.com/

Step 2. Install Flash Player for Firefox/Mozilla/Opera

http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe

And for future reference, please search this newsgroup before asking a
question.

This same question has appeared several times in recent days.
