getting error when running object dependencies feature

I get the following error when I try to exercise this feature on a database i
inherited.

"Microsoft Office Access could not enable name AutoCorrect for one of more
objects because Acces could not open and save the objects. An open or save
operation could have failed du to one or more of the following erasons - the
object is already open, you don't have permissions to open the object in
Design view, the database is read-only, or the source of linked table could
not be found"

I’ve already ruled out the following:
The database is not open by anyone else
It is not read only
I do have permission to open it in design view

Not sure how to address this part:
Source of the linked tables could not be found.

Any guideance would be greatly appreciated.

If you go into Tools > Database Utilities > Linked Table Manager you will see
a listing of all the "linked" tables in this db. The path to the linked db
is also listed. You can then verify each link is accurate and functioning.

I know if you hover the mouse pointer over a linked table name, in the
Tables window, Access displays the path. Whether or not it displays
something else, if the link is broken, I don't know.
