Getting error message when deleting email from Outlook 2007 and IM

Error message says Message cannot be found, but then it deletes it anyway.
Seems to be happening to random messages. We use Gmail and IMAP with Outlook
2007 and in this case Windows 7. Another machine with all the same settings
and Windows XP does not have any issues. How do I get this to stop? Another
search led me to someone having similar issues where their Security
Software's email scanner was causing the error. Just thought I'd throw that
out there
 
Do you have a virus scanner installed which integrates itself with Outlook?
Uninstall this integration part of your virus scanner and try again; you'd
still be sufficiently protected by your on-access scanner part of the virus
