I'm using FrontPage 2003, this problem just started.
I can't figure out what the problem is.
I make whatever changes I want, and then when I go
to "Publish Website" (local to remote), it gets about 30% done,
gives me this message: Getting error message: Cannot create foler "vti_cnf".
I click OK, then it finishes, but then shows me a list of pages that it says
are changed or unmatched, or in conflict.
Can anybody help me please?

Go here: http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and download FP Cleaner ( with
Expression Web Designer and SharePoint Designer support )
Download links are at the bottom of the page.
Run the functions that clear:
The Hidden Temporary files.
The Hidden Cache (*.web) files.

When done, open the remote site and recalculate hyperlinks.
Close the remote site and open the local site and recalculate hyperlinks.

Then try publishing.

See if it helps.

Hi Steve,

I'll make myself look real stupid, and ask, what is, recalculating hyperlinks?
I'm still fairly new to all of this.
Thanks for your answers.

Haven't had FP2003 open in a few months, but iirc it's under Tools on the toolbar.
( with a web open )

Hi Steve,

That didn't fix it. I think I'll just blow up my PC, and start over. LOL!!
Thanks for your time though.

Contact your web host and ask them to run a server health check on your account.
