Getting DVi to work

I have a 9800Pro AGP with a View Sonic VA720 Montitor running at
1280X1024 and for the life of me all I get is "no signal". To my
knowledge I have all the necessary drivers installed. Is there one in
particular that I need? Perhaps iam missing one.

Any help would be great....

I got it...A reboot did it..
 
Drivers are not an issue. If you connect a DVI cable (DVI at both ends)
between the monitor and the video card, and do not connect an analog
cable, and if the monitor is turned on (or, actually in most cases just
plugged in) before the computer is turned on, it should work. No
drivers or even settings should be required. It should just work.

[Note, you may or may not have to select DVI on the monitor ... on some
monitors it's automatic, on others it's manual.]
