Getting an application to open a specific file or folder as defaul

Hi,

Does anybody know how to get eg Word to open a specific file or folder?

As it is on my pc now it opens up My Documents, but I want it to open in a
different location.

Greatfull for any suggestions.

In Word 2003, go to Tools, Options, File Locations. Documents, Modify.
