Dear all,

can any one suggest me how to get the email address while typing in
To column, without going and selecting in address book or by pressing
Ctrl+k.

What version of Outlook are you using? Auto-fill was added in OL2003, if I
remember right

In OL2002 (XP) it works if you give it a second after the third letter of
the name by which they are sorted in the FileAs field.

Unless you tell Outlook to look in your Contacts folder (via the address
book), how do you expect Outlook would ever know the address?

Perhaps you want autocompletion to remember the addresses you use, but who
knows, since you don't explain what you want clearly and you don't state
your Outlook version so it's impossible to know whether your Outlook even
has the feature.

Outlook 2002 has autocompletion as well as autoresolution (what you describe
here). Enable the feature with Tools>Options>E-mail Options>Advanced E-mail
Options>Suggest names while completing To, Cc, and Bcc fields.

No. Outlook 2000 doesn't have that feature. It does have autoresolution,
however, which does help some.
